ISMK Mobile Security Conference 2026

ISMK is inviting researchers and practitioners from academia and industry working on mobile device and mobile network security to join us for our inaugural annual conference and present their research and insights from practical work in the field. Subjects of interest are (for example, no order or priority implied, not limited to):

  • mobile device vulnerabilities and security (hardware and software)
  • mobile network vulnerabilities and security (equipment, management and software)
  • SIM and eSIM vulnerabilities and security
  • baseband and wireless chipset vulnerabilities and security (all wireless and mobile network protocols)
  • mobile device and network forensics and counter-forensics
  • practical cryptography
  • threat detection and analysis (with a focus on mobile and wireless communications)
  • privacy and anonymity in mobile device contexts
  • tracker and beacon security and privacy research
  • advances in open source mobile network, BS and UE implementations
  • tooling and best practices for reverse engineering of hardware and software related to the field
  • vulnerabilities in telco interconnect and mobile network management protocols and implementations
  • reports, trends and stories from real world network operations security

The submission form will ask for the following:

  • Name(s), short CV and institutional / company affiliations of presenters if any
  • Title of the Talk
  • Abstract (2k char max)
  • If and where a version of the talk has been held before
  • Desired length of time slot (15, 30, 45 or 60 min)
  • Desired day of talk (Day 1 under Chatham House Rules or Day 2 Public with academic credentials)
  • Slides / Paper / Source Code if available
  • If paper / slides should be published in the conference proceedings
